1700 Clip?

    Straight clip on a 1707 or 1708 Swedish 1/6th ore (looks like 1707). Fairly common to find on these early coins.

    So is it a coin that had its weight adjusted
    OR
    Is it a coin that had a piece removed for use as a smaller value (like a piece of eight)
    OR
    Was someone trying to cheat?
