Sears books

I saw a set of Sears Greek Coins and their Values today, last reprint date 2002. I was wondering how many members use those books, and how valuable are they to a collector? Any feedback appreciated. JonySky

I use his Roman version, and they are extremely valuable...they are like the bible of ancient coins (or one of them). David Sears is one of a handful that could be called the foremost authority on the subject...

I use them as a general source of documentation about greek coins, as they are not my focus. I bet I would get some more specialized reference if it were the case. But they are OK
