Got this from a cashier today who wasn't sure it was real, so I swapped it out for them. I previously had a 1934 A $100 and sold it for $120 on ebay. Would this one be about the same value? It has a blue spot on his face and on the reverse, and a little staining. Any info on this print run? Spender?
Series 1934B. Serial numbers E04414559A through E05429922A (977,400) the most for any district in this series. If I was going to spend it, I would spend it with a currency dealer while purchasing a note I wanted.....just as a small bonus for them.
Unless saving the $100 would break you up financially, I'd keep that bill. I don't see too many folds in it, and even though it may have small issues it's a great find.
That's a pretty clean bill for it's age. I'd keep it unless it breaks you to do so. The Secretary of the Treasury is tougher to find (series B) as compared to other 1934 bills. Nice find.
