    $15?? => cha-ching, my friend!!

    A sweet, big, meaty Vespasian for the cost of a small pizza (winna-winna-chicky-dinna!!)

    :rolleyes:

    Sadly, I only have one example of this dude ... it's a poor photo of a denarius (maybe you've seen it 100 times?)

    Ancient coin + cheap price + good detail? What could be wrong with that? Congrats.

    I have never taken a satisfactory photo of mine. It looks better than this so I should try, try again. Rough, dark and shiny are not good together whe it comes to photos.

    Good pick up Gil! Sadly this one isn't in my possession yet...maybe today? Here's my modest contribution:

    I don't attribute my coins until they are in hand because I have fun doing it. Don't spoil my fun! ;)

    Haha. While I can understand doing that to save the fun until later. I attribute mine almost right away before purchasing.

    Well, the seller had an attribution. I keep theirs but I wait to add it to my records until I have the coin and can verify it. I arm myself with my scale, calipers, magnifying glass, notebook, and computer and get down to it. It's fun for me.

    Yep...it showed up today along with some books! And it looks sssooooo much better in hand too! The black spots on the reverse is the only obvious blemish, the rest some slight porosity. The books will be a nice read as I lay around.

    They almost always do. You get to lay around? I'm jealous.

    Ya it's awesome! And I have a bottle of Percocet to take the edge off. All you have to do is get two hernias repaired!

    Great coins everyone. Steve, your denarius gots da blues. I refuse to believe it's really that color. Here's a corrected image...

    Love the posts!!!! And you can never go wrong with a nice, attractive bronze at a great price Gil.

    Currently, despite efforts to the contrary, my only example of Vespasian; Denarius with caduceus reverse:

    Very nice coins guys. Right now I have 3 Vespasian As and one Dupondius but not a denarius as of yet.
