    MS64 Grant. Wish I can buy a few more MS64 & 65 at today's level.

One I recently sold. I had a hard time letting go of it because of the look of it in hand!

Wonderful coin. obverse and reverse are sharply struck; clear; great eye appeal!
This thread is "moving" me to start collecting half $ commmems. I am impressed.

Love the coin! Have you tried polishing out the scratches on the holder?

These are a bunch more reasons why this forum needs a "love" button! I especially love the '28.

Everyone probably has one of these, but I think it's the first raffle prize I ever won at my coin club. This coin has been in my possession since about 2003-4. (It seems like every darn one of my coins has a story and corresponding sentimental attachment...)

FWIW, my fav is the obverse of the Origon Trail half. The stylized Indian is magnificant. He is robust; manly; and heroic. Thank you Mrs Frazer.

Here's a coin that I have owned for decades. It's in an OGH, graded MS65. I have to say, this is one of my all time favorite classic commem designs. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did a Spectacular job on the imagery.

    I did. No luck.

When I get a few coins together it'll get some new plastic so I can get some good pics of it.

Well I sold all of mine. At my age I figured I would never complete the set. I did use some of the money to buy a Lincoln cent I've been looking for:rolleyes:
