    I organize mine by date, but (not including anything after medieval, or the handful of near blank pieces)...

    AU = 0 (unless you count the micro nugget from exhibiting)
    AR = 6
    Fouree = 4
    AE = 26

    Hmm. Pretty low numbers. Whodathunk.

    Your numbers are very much like mine when I was in high school except I had not yet started into fourrees. In 50 years, what might be your projections?

    WDF Its all about history

    My Pyramid has a big base.

    0 AU
    16 AR
    438 AE

    0 AU
    5 AR (15 if you count my medievals)
    1 Fouree
    14 AE

    If moderns were included these numbers would be wholly different, but nowhere near as interesting

    Very rough estimate

    Gold 2 (not ancient)
    Silver 50 plus about 10 Indian Rupees
    Bronze 341
    Potin 2
    Fourees 2

    My estimate for my ancients(and it is mostly ancients these days, I sold all my moderns of value here recently to buy more ancients):
    AV: 0(But I am very much wanting to buy a solidus of Justinian or Heraclius by the end of the year)
    EL: 0(Again, planning to "fix" by the end of the year)
    AR: 20
    AE: 38 "presentable examples" + ~50 various low grade coins from uncleaned lot
    Tot: 58 in my core collection, 50 "partially identifiable bits of metal"

    Well, lets see, if we multiply my expected discretionary income by the number of coin shows likely to be within driving distance of the White House, and divide that number by the probable amount of times my wife will "talk" to me about my problem...

    :oops:
