Way cool---especially since they discovered early Imperial coins and not just small bronzes of Valentinian and/or Constantine.

 

Very nice find.

 

Lets hope they are not nice stuck fakes made 5 years ago and buried in a convenient place opening the door to a wide acceptance of the fake coins...its been done before...

 

Is this proof that one can successfully hide their assets from the tax collector?

 

Great article. I would, however, like to see more photos. (Not that I'm suggesting anything....)
