At approximately 0530 hours, operation “Coin Drop” will commence at the giant sand box in the city public park. The coins are a collection of Coinstar rejection bin finds. this we’ll give the old guy some excitement when his detector sounds off
Well, for sure I don't own anything gold and I'd have to really look hard for something silver in all of my junk drawers, boxes, and cabinets.
When I was a kid, I had a metal detector. It wasn't anything fancy or anything, didn't have the ability to pick and choose precious metals from scrap iron. I probably spent 200 hours metal detecting and didn't find half as many coins during that time that I'm tossing in the park for the old guy. All I ever found was tons of pull-tabs and pop bottle caps. So this is a good thing.
