I have read over the publication. A very well put together presentation on Pogs ... even gave a price guide in reference to each Printing. Considering the sales of the POGS on different sites, Most printings are selling for way beyond the cataloged price. Just Recently a 6th Printing of Dimes sold over 400.00 ...

Have to agree, about the price guides some are wishful thinking on the part of an author. I was once told by a guy that wrote a collectors guide that some of the people that write them have a building filled with the stuff and hoping to make a bundle! They are worth what you can get somebody to pay for it. Some items like coins, stamps and sports and non sports cards, That have a larger following and store that deal in them not to mention place that keep very good track of the selling prices of items. And have hard and fast rules on the condition of the items. The price guides are more realistic.
Then throw in the auction sites like the bay were people have the attitude about things if it is old it is worth a lot.The same tokens can be selling from .50 to $50.00 If they were found with a metal detector, the they can go thru the roof! ;)

Problem is , The load of POGS get shipped in from Kuwait .... and they have already been picked thru. So, the only thing you find is maybe one or two dated 2006B and before and the rest are all 2011 . 15th printing .... Still, the search is what its all about ...

Even on this side of the bridge, they don't turn up that often. I picked one out of the LCS bargian box and posted it a couple months ago. I was happy to find a local exotic (foreign country) one that was so close to home

I've received 7 or 8 5c 1st printing pogs and about 10 before 2006B so far in the 3 weeks I've been here.

Also be on the lookout for the British NAAFI POGs. Depending on where you are of course. https://sites.google.com/site/malstokens/efi

I only came across one 2006B POG on my last deployment. Starting to kick myself for not saving them from the last 15 years.

I wish I could get half of that even with out the shipping. They are in the .50 bargian box around here and I think in the last couple of trades I got at least two in each one

Yes, depending on where you are , you may find all kinds of different Pogs out there. I have maybe 30 of the different variations other then the AAFES POGS.

Jared, Jack, or any one else collecting pogs>> I have a Excell Spreadsheet that makes it really easy to track the different Pogs that you have received. I don't know how to post it here on the site so I would need an email address to send it to .... Thanks for the Interest !!! Tracy
