Recent pickup: Canada 1913 $5 Gold

    Just picked this up a little while ago. Finally got some pictures, but they aren't the best. The original seller's photos weren't great, either, so I took a chance. The reverse has lots of "cartwheel" in evidence and the obverse some, but less. There seems to be a lot of "noise" in the fields, though, that I'm not sure about. Without further ado, here she is:

    Please let me know what you think regarding condition and originality. It does not have the known-counterfeit "ding" in the "O" in "DOLLARS". Thanks for the help, folks!

    Looks like a nice AU-58 or maybe a 60 . Nice piece of gold .

    Looks cleaned to me, but could be the lighting. Never seen a Canadian $5 gold... neat coin
