Been going through two boxes of quarters I got from the bank. Have noticed about 4 of these quarters with the same "claw" extension. All the others look normal. So I thought I'd get some opinions before I send some other Homestead quarters to Wexler for him to check out as I think I have found some new DDRs that are not shown on his site. Will post those after I finish the second box of quarters. So what do you think of this? MD or something else?
A lot of people have looked but nobody's opined as to what it may be, machine doubling, something else, whatever. Would like to get some opinions before sending it off to Wexler. I sent him a picture of it and he said he'd have to see it, of course. I have some other interesting ones I found out of 6 boxes of quarters this week.
I would not send it to Wexler because it's not a ddr. Is that the only sign of error on the coin? Take more pictures. I'm getting back some 2015 ddr's from anacs any day now. They attributed one of the many I have. So now I will send them a lot more.
