the address for Jake and Elwood was 1060 W. Addison I saw an incredible large cent display at the Goldberg booth: http://www.pcgs.com/News/Amazing-Tom-Reynolds-Collection Overall, it was an incredible experience and Chicago is an ideal place to have the show: in the middle of the country, great food, excellent coin collecting town.
I'd be interested in seeing Tom's large cents. I've seen his 1798's before but not th rest of the collection. Be interesting to see how the PCGS grades compare to the listing of his collection in the census.
Well had a pretty good day. Missed my first meeting this morning (surprise I-65 north was closed, lost a hour finding a work around.) Spent most of the day at Money Talks programs and specialty club meetings. Attended the John Burns Memorial Library dedication. Back to the meetings. Got to the bourse floor about 5:30, snatched up a couple of books, dropped by and said hello to Charmy, then at 6:00 off to the Conder Token club meeting. ( I thought this was a coin show, mostly what I saw when I blew through were tables with chairs on top. OK I guess it works better if you're there when the dealers are too.)
Lots of dealers start leaving around 4:30, 5pm... if you got to the bourse at 5:25, just before it becomes one way traffic (leaving only), it does get a bit thin. Alhambra's booth is 1519... Charmy is at 1325... when you enter, turn right - the booth in front of you is Pobjoy Mint (1202)...
I was there on Tuesday only. My objective was to sell not buy. However, I always check out the exhibits. I sold some paper currency but no coins. There is the Mid West Currency Show coming up in September which I will go to as well. (Tinley Park) I sent my Miss Liberty $100 gold coin back to the mint because it didn't seem to have much interest from the dealers.
