As I mentioned - I had Valente151 image all my newps from January 2014 to June 2015.... Here is a coin I thought was AT at first....
Bought this 1907 NGC 60 & CAC - cracked it and sent it to PCGS ... Now in a PCGS 62 Holder....has not been to CAC yet !
Here's a special date. It's the lowest PCGS pop coin in the half series discarding varieties. I used to own this particular coin, but sold it 2 years ago without realizing it's true potential. Where it's at now, I'll probably never see it again, unfortunately. I've been an avid half collector for the past 4 years and have only seen 4 coins in VF that I deemed acceptable. One was this one, another I referred to a friend while I still had this one, one that was listed on ebay for an astronomical number that is no longer available, and the one I have now. This one that I am posting (that I no longer own) is the best one I have seen in VF. My current one is not as nice. I sure do miss this coin. By the way, I sold Coinmike a solid VG of this date which is hard to find nice as well.
LP: I have a few of this date, a F-12 being the best, and 2 strict VG-08's. The list price on the VF is $225, is that what you consider astronomical?
So now you made me look at the 02-s barbers and can someone please explain how this is a 67? Aren't the marks across the portrait going to keep it going any higher than a 64/5??
I don't dabble on the MS side, but I would say the marks you are seeing are probably in the planchet. It's actually quite a clean looking coin. Whether it's a 67 or not, I don't know.
