Awesome, thanks for the info. I usually try to stay away from the online grading updates if possible, I like the anticipation of unpacking them from the NGC, like Christmas I guess?? I'll let you know if I hit the lottery with the first "Proof Like" error coin, ha!

 

So here's what happened with my purchase... I ordered one within the first few minutes the UHR went on sale. After 3 failed attempts by UPS it went back to the mint. I was caught up in moving into a new house and took for granted my new UPS guy would be like my old one and deliver later in the day for me. Needless to say I'm back ordered now for October.

 

My coin that was projected for october delivery was delivered yesterday. Upon inspection it appears the fields have HEAVY die polish marks. I did a google search and found several posts on another website mentioning the die polish marks. Has anyone else noticed this in their coin? Ill try to caputure pics.

 

This has been very very common. One of the most talked about things with these coins. As a side note, these are now unavailable from the mint. Did they pull the plug on them? I literally canceled my pending order a week ago... might regret it if they are now done.
