Looks like the Canada version of Walmart for PCGS grading....lol

Still, with 100% Feedback of over 12000, they must be doing something right. And their shipping, considering it's coming from Canada, is quite reasonable.

100% positive feedback on over 12,000 items is a solid record. Do they sell predominately Canadian coins? In the U.S. we stick to three grading companies. Even at that, just two get the lion's share of the business. Self graders who market and sell their coins to the general public always are considered suspicious. Or at least profit bias. Just for your own piece of mind, send one of your coins to PCGS or NGC for regrading. If you are buying from them regularly, it's worth the effort for a second opinion. If it comes back with the same grade, I would consider them as a source but not for high end merchandise.

I've never purchased but looks like they have a mix for sale of ICCS & CCCS (Canadian TPGs) for their higher end coins and their own Coinmart self-slabbed/self graded coins for lower value coins. According to their website they've been selling for the last decade.
I'd treat their self-slabbed as raw and go from there.

It seems to me that Canadians are more conservative overall when it comes to grading. For example, I have a large cent graded VF by ICCS that would be at least XF45 in a PCGS or NGC slab. I checked out the Coinmart site and even their self slabbed coins didn't appear to be overgraded.

I see 1 US coin and 4 "world" coins on their page while they have 1725 Canadian coins.

Write for a free sample of some Canadian coin magazine, and see if this company's grading is widely cited in advertisements.

Agree 100%. Part of what you are buying with slabs is greater liquidity, and if the off-brand slab creates questions, you lose that.

They are a FPG (First Party Grader), that is slabbing (not sonically sealed btw) and grading coins for their own sales. They are a large CDN coin store.
