Which one is your favorite @Nevadabell ? I'm partial to the Bust Half because of their great history, but everyone loves a nice Morgan or Seated.
I think it's either the Bust half or the 1954G key date German mark. I think the latter is a sleeper coin that is resting in many german collectors' coin boxes.
I can't say as I know much at all about the German Mark! I love the designs on the German coins though.....here is one of mine:

Hope you're going to join the rest of us addicts.The best/least expensive way to get going is Metal Detecting I've found some decent pieces that would have been too expensive to buy outright in the dirt for 6 bux worth of batteries! Then this group can guide you with the best help/info I've seen so far and I'm 66 yo.
