I'll take a photo and put her up in a day or two. I lost all my original photos I had on a Samsung phone that " bricked," on me and I lost the original photos then! I will take a couple of photos and put her up soon! Thanks
Here's two more cheap wheat pennies (yes I know they're cents ) for my Dansco! Only 27(?) more to go... (The left reverse is the '21 and the right reverse is the '27)
one more for my type set, 1832 Classic Head Half Cent (photo's lightened to show the detail a bit better)
I just got this in today, and hope to have her '62 brethren here soon. The mark in front of the forehead, as well as the nose, aren't really there in-hand, it's kinda baffling, really! The light 'wispy' areas are the plastic (the slab needs a little 'wax on/wax off' to spruce it up). It's pretty mark-free for an MS63. The reverse is just as 'nice' (for an MS63), though it DOES have, and IMO, deservedly so, the blessing of 'the bean'. I look for carbon fleck/spot-free, and THIS one tickled my fancy, and NO carbon to be found. I like it!
This one just came in the mail. I know you cant see the date but in hand you can kinda make it out, but anyways im into the weird and rare kind of stuff and i liked this. After seeing the seller's thread in coin community and doing my own research im pretty sure this is an 1870 contemporary counterfeit shield nickel. The die markers match that of the 1870 #1 listed in Fletchers. Pretty neat in my opinion.
Saved all my cents and finally, after many years, found a 1936 Wisconsin Territorial Commemorative I couldn't pass up. The dealer cites it as MS-63 but it's not slabbed; comments welcome on that. Thanks for checking it out! -L
Pics make it look better than MS63. I'd like to see it in hand. It's not my kind of coin (I prefer toners), but it's nice looking!
Actually that is a stunner! Looks really nice from the photos.....I'd be proud to own it! Here is my "new-ish" commem, 1936 as well and also hard to grade from the glamor shots, but I might use it for my desktop background, haha.
