The other day I was watching a Youtube video of some guy who got himself a stack of $1 Dollar bills from his bank. As he was going through them searching for Fancy Serials Numbers he mentioned "Don't forget to look for mismatched Serial Numbers"

 What?! I never thought of looking at both serial numbers! Do you Fancy S/N, Star Note collectors do this? Anybody new to the hobby realize this?

Here is an example of a Mismatched Serial Number and Star Note. (image is not mine, I do not own this $1 even though I wish I did)

One of the few notes I do not have is a mismatched SN. Sometime I'm sure. This one shows a little wear but is looks like it still has some crispness to it.

I always compare both serial numbers. I have yet to find a mismatched or let alone a radar note.

Mismatched are the most difficult to find. I've found 3 Radar, several repeaters and 1 ladder note. Keep looking, they're hiding out there.

I once heard about this error on coin talk and ever since I've been looking for them. Never found one... yet

I have a mismatch on a ONE, and on a Five.
