    hamman88 Spare some change, sir?

I've noticed coins from countries that remain loyal to the crown often have a coat of arms with an animal on both side, both native to that country. Does someone know of the countries that do or did this? So far I have australia, bahamas, and barbados.

Some of New Zealand's coins have a coat of arms but no animals. Canada (on their .50 cents) has a coat of arms and a lion & unicorn.

Goldie57,most of New Zealand's coins depict animals & birds on the reverse. As New Zealand is a Dominion of the British Commonwealth,we always have the portrait of the reigning monarch on the obverse.

Jamaica's decimal coins have the Coat-of-Arms on the obverse,as do some of the coins from Belize.
