I love the idea, but sooner or later the IRS is bound to get involved in their usual heavy-handed, no-fun-allowed way.
Once in a while I will go on garage sales. Recently I was at one and bought some books. In the back portion of one book there was a hollow section and 3 paper bills were there. they are brand new. the 100 has 26 De Juno 1987 so I think that means June 26, 1987. The $1000 does not appear to have a date but has a man wearing glasses with grey mustache and beard and a brown triangle on the center left of this man within that triangle it says 1 CRUZADO NOVO What the heck do I have here?
I also found a little tiny paper money. It says BRITISH ARMED FORCES 5 FIVE NEW PENCE Issued by the Command of the Defense Council on one of the large number 5's at the bottom it has on it 6th Series. What is this? These things look like they just came off a new printer, you know crackling new. Thank you guys.
The Brazilian note for 1 new Cruzado is an inflation note, every so often they knock three zeros off the denomination and call the currency something slightly different. Recently Brazil has managed to get its currecy more in order, due mainly to huge natural resources sales to China, but your note is of no value. The UK BAF is the equivalent of an American Militay Payment Certificate, the sixth series was scrapped and dumped on the market by the ton, all denonimations of the later series are very common as a consequence. You have three bookmarks.
