Impossible to tell from these photos... they're just too small. Do you have larger ones you can post?

See the original post...new pics uploaded...I hate trying to photograph copper. New pics are bigger and show more luster...but blurry

Now I cannot tell for sure. It might make MS (63?), but I will still go AU.

Well, it could be anywhere from high AU to mid MS... say 59-64. It has too much luster to be anything lower than 55 in my opinion. Copper just doesn't keep it's luster once it starts getting circulated and your coin has nice luster.

It has a soft strike, which a novice on IHC's will mistake for wear. You can see this in the tips of the feathers and the bottom of hair curl. Those two places are not the highest points and don't show wear first. Unfortunately many see this soft strike and assume it's seen circulation, when in fact it has not.

I wish the photos were higher quality so we could give you a better opinion on grade. My gut is MS63BN given the photos though. If better quality photos show some wear then I would say AU58BN.

Beautiful coin and am happy to see it's in an old NGC holder. If they called it a 64 then it must be free of almost all distracting marks. Nice IHC you have there!

I will add that it's right on the edge of RB to BN. If I were a buyer, I would only pay BN money on this. Just something to keep in mind for the future.

Beautiful 1908 with nice luster and eye appeal. Most any collector would be proud to have an example like this in their collection.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention you had the closest or rather best evaluation of the grade in the thread, kudos! And I know who I'll be talkin to for any more IHC evals ;)
