1893 S, RPM, to the East The image to the West is MD, but sometimes listed by dealers are triple RPM. It is not.
Frank - Nice display of Barbers - I love the raw book for collecting. Some mighty nice coins are tucked away in those pages !! Great job ! Boy, would I love to look thru those Dimes... I see lots of AU Toners !! Sweet set !!
Justin - The Philippine Hoard Coins are great when you find them and they have not been messed with. The 98-S is a favorite of mine. Here's a splash of color - I never thought it would cross from NGC to PCGS
One tough date: My first set which was mostly AU 55-58 had a MS 62 of this date. I think its one of - if not THE ONE - sleeper date in the series !
Thank you. I was and still am trying for a set of AU's. Perhaps during then next administration (presidential admin.) but not likely
I hadn't paid any attention to the prices lately. It seems I bought at the right time although it was the most expensive coin that I had ever bought at the time. My proof half cent now holds the record.
The 13-S is a bit over dipped - why ? Some folks like their coins all shiny and bright. Having one tucked away for years might have been better spent if it was left in a Dansco Album - or Raymond Waite. Listen to me - I don't even own a VG !! Here is a continuing post to my new Dimes:
