That's right folks, post something that you re-imaged because the first shots didn't come out the way you hoped. Trying out my new lighting setup this afternoon and I'm mildly pleased with the way they came out. Little fuzzy on the focus on a few......
When you experiment, is there any way you can photograph ( maybe with an old point/shoot ) the setup with your new superdoop camera
I'll post something tomorrow Jim........it's really quite elementary. Just a couple of goose neck Verilux desk lamps, camera, and tripod up against the dinning room table. I ordered the two lamps a few days ago. I had two goose necks awhile back but the wife commandeered 'em for some project she was doing........the project became ongoing and thus my need for some new lamps. In the absence of the lamps, I was never really satisfied with the results of my 'shooting'. The one lamp that I employed was insufficient for proper, overall lighting. I'm happy I now have something to properly distribute the light and keep shadows at a minimum.....
I wish I had a coin photography set up. My wife has a Canon 5D Mark III and some lighting equipment, but I'm not good with it.
Great photos everyone! There's an ancients thread with the same theme and it's really cool to see how others, more photographically inclined/patient/interested have done. It really inspires me to find my camera (haven't seen it since Dec 2012), get a couple light, and give it a try.
