    This is very dirty, I think it has potential to look a lot better, when I can get around to it. It feels a solid little coin.

    Coin: Silver Antoninianus
    IMP C C VIB TREB GALLVS AVG - Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
    IVNO MARTIALIS - Juno seated left, holding corn ears and sceptre.
    Mint: Mediolanum (252-253 AD)
    Wt./Size/Axis: 4.58g / 22mm / -

    IMHO cleaning it would be as likely to ruin it as not. These are on the border of billon and basest 'silver' where revealed porosity would make it look a lot worse than dirt.

    dang pish....my "like" button hand has cramped up. what a great group of new coins. i'll just comment on the group here since i'm kind of just making a quick drop in tonight.

    this TG guy is on my "hit list" however, relatively high up.

    i'd leave this one as well...i like the orange highlights.

    DS I hear you!
    Gave this a soak and a bit of a rub with the thorn of a hawthorne (freely available at the cottage) and a lot of the surface dirt has come off. There is quite a bit of green visible under the scope, barely to the naked eye, so I will leave that alone.

    These were taken outside, but it is going to rain any minute, hence different colour from the first pic taken yesterday.
