Do I need it??.... NO! Does it fit in my collection?... NO! Did the photo whisper sweet nothings in my ear?... YES! I don't have a clue what I just purchased. But it is a thousand years old and apparently called a DONAUWÖRTH REICHSMÜNZSTÄTTE..... And I think it's just about as cool of an old coin as I have ever seen (today)....... I really need to block all emails that contain photos of coins.

In between a cross staff with a 5 pointed star above. Rings on the sides. Basically the same words I heard last night...when again like you....temptation to buy a coin is worth the trouble one seems to get into..... ....my reply I could be collecting 26 year old's ....

Paddy.... If you are anything like me.... Thought mere thought of collecting 26 year olds sounds fun... For like an hour. Then the stress would likely be my demise!
Randy we are in fact twin brothers from different mothers....and yes it would kill us both! And for all time & eternity a huge smile on our faces. .....that's a long time to be smiling However I noticed when events do occur..99.999% of the time your getting someone elses problem....! That said old dogs tend to pass on such events...as we are old enough to know when to grab the walker and run.
Twenty six-year-olds? I had enough trouble dealing with one 4-year-old and one 6-year-old. I'm sure my wife would agree. Oh, wait...
At my age 26 is too young and nothing but trouble. I could however be enticed by one in their mid forties. Lol See you other thread as I just posted there. Not quite in the thousand year old coin but getting close. About 500-900 years is about the time frame.
The trouble's just as serious with 26ers as it is with 4 and 6 year olds. The difference? . . . You usually see it coming with the latter, and not with the former.
(And might I add that the thread title made me twitch -- one reason I haven't pushed my own father harder to get on the Internet is the fear that he WILL start blasting explicit emails! His filters don't always work as well as they should.)
