Buffalo Nickels, 2 Feathers?

    For those that don't know, the missing third feather was from over polishing the dies and you can find a progression of them. It is a variety, not an error and they can occur in any year and 27 (FS-401) are currently recognized by PCGS. The true "Two Feathers" shows NO indication that a third feather was ever there. Dishonest sellers often "doctored" the coins, passing them off as real, which leads me to believe that last photo is one of them.
    The same over zealous polishing also goes for the "Three legged" buffalo, as does the fakes.
    They do demand a premium, so collectable for sure.

    That's the reason I didn't put this in the error coins forum...
    Also, those coins sure are pretty!
