Searched Coin Dumping

New roll hunter here, I am curious as to any inventive ways you guys have found to dump your searched coin rolls. I have been getting rid of them by taking a few rolls to the grocery store, like 2 or 3 at a time and they dont seem to mind. Any of the veteran roll hunters on here have any suggestions?

Have a dump bank. Set up an account and only make deposits there.

 

Yes definately a dump bank. I'm dropping off some rolls today, then driving across town to another to get more. I recently started marking my rolls just to see if I ever come across them again lol

 

you'll need a dump bank. I have two banks that are within half a mile of each other, I usually dump half my load at each bank so it doesn't look as bad when I take in $1500 lol. I also use rolls of halves to pay for gas and small purchases.

 

Definitely having a few dump banks seems to be the way to go. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out ways to get rid of the culls. My goal is around 2000 a week and I really don't want to make these banks mad and coinstar is just too expensive.

I suggest trying to find a dump bank that has a coin counting machine. Makes it a LOT easier than rerolling everything. You can call banks and ask if any branches have them, or ask friends and family if they've seen any at their bank. I don't know what area you're in, but I've never seen a TCF branch without a machine. Also many credit unions have them.

 

I haven't seen any coin machines in my area. Some US Banks had them but pulled them. Need to get creative. Try dumping at a few different places until you figure out where they will accept them. Getting to know the merchant teller helps, I have found.

 

Casinos. Get a players club card. Go when they are not busy. Leave a tip for the teller. DON'T loose all of your money by stopping and playing video roulette. The best part is you don't have to reroll your coins because they are dumping them into coin counter anyway.

 

Would this be a good place to get coins to search? Assuming everyone isn't dumping their rejects.

 

I have never gotten coins from casinos. Most of the coin I dump goes into bags that get sent out on the Armored Car. I guess if your a Big Spender at the casino they would sell you the bags.
