I am wondering what somebody needs to be aware of when looking at these early dollars (counterfeit detection and variety). For this flowing hair Three Leaves: I am studying it up (Breen Encyclopedia), but I'd appreciate some advice from those of you here who know something about these. 1795dobv.jpg

Don't you just love descriptive labels. 1795 "three leaves". Could be one of two different rev dies and four different varieties (B-5, 6, 7, and 12) with rarities of R-1, R-3, R-4 and R-6. This one is B-5 (assuming it is actually a 3 leaf rev.)
