1970 S (big or large date(s)-double died?)

    Hello, I have (3) 1970 S pennies & I've been looking @ side by side pics & reading how to tell the large from small date, but I'm just not sure? Any of them double died, I know one the 1 its pretty hard to tell, b/c of the condition of it-sorry, I took the best pics I could I'd appreciate the help/thank u!!

    Nope. The only one I'd like to maybe see closer up is the 1st one. In my some-what Sailor Jerry's influenced state it seems to me like it may be worth a closer look. I honestly doubt it though.

    Look for the "stroke" at the end of the inside loop on the 9 to come to a point and "point" in the direction of the 7 on the Small Date on both Proof and Uncirculated coins.

    It is blunt and points in the direction of the mintmark on the large date on both Proof and Uncirculated coins.
