    Very nice. Just think of how long that coin circulated to get that worn, and how many people probably noticed the overdate.

    On second thought, could be that someone kept it as a pocket piece in 1820, and it only emerged in 1870 after his death. Half a century in his pocket would have also worn it :cyclops: (I don't know why I use this smiley, but it is probably happy to get out of the stable) !

    Well not a bust overdate, but a rpd that I think is really cool! We'll call it a Lage Cent overdate ;)

    [emoji23] Whilst I was looking through some coins for this thread,my son asked what I was looking for which I replied with a simple "something thats an overdate "..a few minutes later he said "is that any good"[emoji15]
