    very nicecoin stevex, the bust is great for being on less than 10 mm of flan.
    the reverse stellate pattern is cool as well.

    i don't have a 3/4 facing coin! :(

    i did get a couple mini-greeks recently, i'll post soon.

    Grade: Perfectly centered Fine coin with
    fine facial features (resembling Rocky Balboa)
    full nose and attractive old toning.
    Other: Aegean Island off west coast of
    modern day Turkey.

    Steve, that's astonishingly good detail on a bust that fits onto such a small coin. The engraver was definitely an artist. I'll drag out one forward-facing bust, of Honorius. The low-relief on these late Romans does not help the design one bit. Usually the face is smashed and indistinct. This is one of the better examples, except I wish the reverse had struck up fully.
