    I want in.

Thanks to the generous LordM for yet another contest.

If I win, I would like the ancient coin. As I have indicated in the past, I currently do not have an ancient in my collection (although I do have a copy of one -- a different story). I would be happy to have the real thing. Thanks.

@lordmarcovan Rob, been a while since you've had such a popular coin that everyone wants. She does make a statement. You could have 20 different German state coins in front of you and you would be hard pressed to pick a favorite

I like our lords posts. Never saw anyone bitching on them. That way I can read the whole thread and not get worked up.

I want in, but for @PamR if this post wins.
While it is for someone other than myself, I really like coin B. The design and being minted so long ago, has a lot of appeal to me. Doesn't hurt that it is silver either. LOL

I want in. My choice would be coin A because I’m interested in building my collection of ancients. Thank you for the generous contest!

Love silver dollars, no matter the age, type or condition. It’s a huge hunk of silver in your hand, and I like to think of how it was used throughout its circulation life!

I cast my hat into the ring. Even though my head will get cold. And wet. Seattle weather...
Should Fortune smile on my gesture, I would request Coin B. I have some Germanic family roots, and am easily tempted by coins and such that are affiliated with the notional homeland. (Seems a surprisingly common attribute (lol).)
    Thank @lordmarcovan for the opportunity!

I want in. I would want the Charles VI, BUT…

I’m entering on behalf of my friend’s kid Sylvie who just got into coin collecting due to some app, and my friend said no to foreign coins. As such, 1882 Morgan, it is.

I want in! As for which, it's a difficult choice. Of course I'd love such a nice Hamburger, but Claudius was such an interesting emperor I'd have to go with coin A. Thanks again for the contests!

From the Collectors Universe site. I’ve told folks over there that I’ll post an entry here on CT for those CU folks who are unable to do so themselves.

I found one of those Green River Whiskey tokens- just like that- under an old tree while metal detecting once. It is circa 1935, I believe? Needless to say, my dug one does not look as nice.

Right next to it, I found a military Good For (5c?) token (octagonal or hexagonal, with a regimental number on it), which I surmise to likely be of Spanish-American War vintage. Have never seen another like it. (I should try to find it and send you pix. I’m going on memory, here. All of my dug finds albums are put away… somewhere.)

I also surmise that both tokens were deposited beneath the old tree by youngsters at some time. The house was circa 1918 but on a lot with a much longer history.

As a collector of world silver coins, the only choice could be the 8 schilling! Thank you for the opportunity, and best of luck to all!
