    Three Kennedy halves involved here. What do you suppose caused the abnormalities depicted?

    2. & 3. look like grease filled dies....

    I can't tell for sure on #1

    #2 & #3 look like grease filled.

    The 2nd & 3rd are definitely the result of a grease-filled die. I'm not sure about the 1st one, myself. Maybe a better close-up of the 1st coin by itself would help.

    The 1st might have been encased and the 2nd and 3rd do look like grease-strikes. That'd make the 1st damaged and the 2nd and 3rd grease-errors.
