    Last Tuesday, I walked the battleground with my 9 year old grandson. We were not allowed to dig or use a metal detector. They told me that if you could do that, you would find all kind's of goodies....

    You would also recieve all kinds of fines. The Park Rangers there strictly enforce the rules of the battlefield. Ive been there to the battlefields more times than I can count. Last I heard there were a bunch of teenagers up there stealing small monuments and defacing others. If they even see you do as much as digging in the dirt with your fingers you'd probably get in trouble. I bet though there are alot of things in the ground there thats never been and never will be found.
