Gold ancient coin?

I may be buying this coin from someone, does anyone know what type of coin it is and how I should proceed in authenticating if it is real.

Not a coin, Indian Ramatanka temple token. Mostly these are low purity silver.
Seldom these were made of gold, then worth not much more than the gold value.
