Can you get pics with more light on the coin ? Not flash. Coins are very dark to see needed details.

    Might be a O-111 ( OBV. 7 Rev. I )

I think these new pics still look like the O-111 in the 5th edition of the Don Parsley book. And on Bust Half Addict's website.

What is on the NGC label ? AU-58 ?

It is a lettered edge coin right, not the reeded edge.

I sent a PM to Dave at Bust Half Addict's website to view your thread for his opinion on the Overton number. It may take a few days till he sees it.

    Ps: Welcome John

I see you just joined today. What other coins do you collect ?

I am not an advanced collector. I work for a small coin shop, and love to find varieties.

okbustchaser I may be old but I still appreciate a pretty bust Supporter

It is, indeed, O-111. The faint die line connecting the olive branch to the C is diagnostic.

One interesting fact about the 1836-111...it was the very last die marriage produced on the screw press before the changeover to the steam press stamped 1836 reeded edge type.

    "Thanks McBlzr!

I think the O-111 is correct. Looks like a nice coin to boot!
