    Septimius Severus denarius
    Obv:–IMP CAE L SEP SEV PERT AVG, Laureate head right
    Rev:– BONI EVENTVS, Fides standing right holding basket of fruit and corn ears
    Minted in Alexandria. A.D. 194
    Ref:– BMCRE -. RIC -. RSC -. (Not listed with Fides right)

    2.72g. 17.10mm. 0o

    Additional information from Curtis Clay “Not previously known for Septimius Severus but a reverse die match with a Julia Domna in Vienna”

    Obv:– IVLA (sic) DOMNA AVG, Draped bust right, hair tied in bun behind
    Rev:– VIRTVS AVG COS II, Roma, seated left on shield, holding Victory and spear
    Minted in Alexandria, A.D. 194
    References:– RIC - (Unlisted Hybrid with reverse from Sept. Sev. 350I (which is R2))

    A rare coin type.

    Caracalla Denarius
    Obv:– M AVR ANTONINVS CAES, draped and cuirassed bust right (seen from front)
    Rev:– SEVERI AVG PII FIL, sacrificial implements
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 196
    Reference:– BMCRE 186 has matching bust type though not illustrated. RIC 4 (though bust from front rather than the more usual rear). RSC 587.

    Geta denarius
    Obv:- P SEPT GETA PIVS AVG BRIT, laureate, bearded head right
    Rev:- VICTORIAE BRIT, Victory, half-naked, standing left, holding wreath & palm.
    Minted in Rome. A.D. 210-212
    Reference:- RIC 92, RSC 219, BMC 68

    => Caracalla ... are you kidding me?!! (those two coins are sweet)

    => awesome coins "everyone" ... TIF, as always I love your coins because they're very similar to mine except you have a bit more loose-cash to spend on coins compared to me (great coins)

    ... Martin and Nemo, you dudes also have great coins (man, "everybody" has some pretty sweet examples!!)

    Steve, I think that pair of Caracallas you have are world-class. Great coins, though, everyone! It's been quite a show. I'd love one of the Alexandrian issues, too.
