Part of your problem is you only have 10 stars on eBay. A lot of people are leery of buying from a new dealer. You do realize you can increase your stars by buying and receiving feedback, don't you? Utilize this. Buy some inexpensive items you may have a use for, items such as drill bits, small hand tools, currency sleeves, gift paper, unused postage stamps, knick-knacks ... anything cheap. You can build up your feedback score and increase your bidder confidence that you're not a fly-by-night operation that will stiff them with ringers. You may take a few loses but in the end if you stick with it those bidders and prices will go up.
That's a very smart idea, however; part of the deal I have with my parents is that if I can sell on eBay then I can't buy anything off eBay.
I have seen it when the seller is selling the coin as a collectable and doesn't think about the intrinsic value. Especially foreign coins.
I know that's what you said, but saying it does not make it true. Do you honestly expect the board to believe that you started another nearly identical tread, to ask the very same question you've already had answered, about a nearly identical item, and promoting said item, which sold because of that thread, had nothing to do with it? Were the answers you received not good enough last time? Please.. don't play people for fools, especially people who have been very good to you. Come on, Sully... you pushed your luck and were caught. Man up, admit it, and perhaps you'll earn back a little of the respect you've just lost.
He's a young pup... It's hard for them to admit it. I just hope Mod gave him a stearn talking like I've gotten before.
