I found this definition in an article at the E-Sylum Newsletter:

coin dealers (n. phr.) Apt to believe themselves prey of
cherrypickers. Nevertheless, many brag to their peers
about the rarities they just cherrypicked from some walk-in
    yokel. Prov. 20:14; Isaiah 24:16.

Even some of the least educated display the title
"Professional Numismatist," like Eeyore's tail pinned to
his rump. Their pitfalls are greed, dishonesty, and stupidity.
    God bless the rare exceptions.

Sounds like something from Breen's Cynics Dictionary.

    I think that's it.
Did that ever get published? I don't think so.

Well some folks are entitled to their opinions. I recall hearing things about used car salesmen, which were not polite. Some are good some not. It is true that just about anyone can claim "professional numismatist" as a title, there is no licensing board, no review board, no exams to pass, and the qualifications seem to simply be: "well I began collecting 40 years go, therefore I possess this title". There are true professionals, and these folks are immune to such frivolous statements.
