Very nice, Michael. Actually, a number of collectors on this forum own these Indo-Greek squares. I'm sure you'll see quite a few in this thread.

... and I went first, using all seven tiles (50 point bonus), W on the double letter position, double word score. Let's see... that's TIF 82 points, Steve 10. :p

Ummm TIF, rather than playing my "C-I-N" for COIN, I decided to play all seven of my letters => MISCOINS => for 24 points on the double-word (oh, and it was also the last play of the game and there were no letters left in the bag, so I picked-up an additional 50 bonus points for using all of my letters ... oh and it was a 7+ letter word so there's another 50 points) ... oh my ... 124 points!!

    => cha-ching!!

Here is another unlikely scrabble word

    Aaargh

    "The Castle of Aaargh."

    What is that?

He must have died while carving it.

    -Come on!
    -That's what it says.

    Look, if he was dying,
he wouldn't bother to carve "Aaargh."

    -He'd just say it.
-That's what's carved in the rock.

    -Perhaps he was dictating it.
    -Shut up!

    -Does it say anything else?
    -No!
    Just "Aaargh."

Since I was a child people told me I was a square, today I exhibit roundish qualities...

One not yet shown in the thread....

    India
Period of Pratihara Supremacy, Pratitkara - Pala
