hey guys - I've been cleaning some coins lately and wanted some opinions on this one. It clearly has some more dirt on it, but it's tucked away into some tight little crevices, and I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get out. Advice?

If the dirt doesn't bother you, leave it alone. If you want to get it out, you could use something sharper like a needle or a pin. You will see it better under high magnification. I use a scalpel. Try to fracture the dirt so that it chips off, take care not to go through to the metal.

IMHO it's not worth the effort. The coin looks fine to me.

Thanks guys - I'm gonna have to think about it, but leaning towards leaving it...
