Congratulations bone. That's a very impressive mile stone you've reached! Keep posting the bust half pictures. I always enjoy looking at them.

Well, I certainly hope you score.

But even if you don't get in on the "first ballot", you could fill in any perceived holes and try again, right ?

Congratulations, I know what that kind of an accomplishment feels like. I had to do smething similar to get into the The Score (Early date large cent census). Took me three years before I made it.

    Congratulations!

    Bonedigger,

Way to go! That's a nice listing of varieties. I'm at 58 varieties and 61 CBH after about 5 years worth of searching - both for varieties and the money to buy them! I have hopes for that 100 mark as well. The hunt is really quite a gratifying experience, isn't it? I met a BHNC member at the ANA Summer Seminar and was impressed with his helpfulness. Sounds like you've found one that will help open the doors for you as well. I figure I've got about 5 more years at least (the oldest daughter will be hitting high school next year so I may need to extend my time estimate!). No real hurry and absolutely no hope for 450+, but the series is just so fascinating. It's time and money well spent. I just hope the increased interest in the series doesn't drive the coins out of my price range.

    Again, congratulations!
