    wow great thread.

    If i owned that 77D gbroke posted that coin would be buried with me , man one heck of an IKE. You don't see those colors on Ikes and its no doubt NT.

    There is no S/S 1974-S IKE.

    What folks and many numismatists and graders assumed was an RPM actually turned out to be a doubled Mint Punch which also exists on the 1976-S Washingtons, Kennedy's and IKE's. A true RPM would not exist across coin series much less coin years.

    This is a good topic by itself the 74s in my boxes among them are some of these variants. They don't seem to have any premium but are interesting. I don't want to hijack this post with a lot of non toners so I will post em in another post.
