To be honest, i don't see a "22" and i think i see an S there, but i could be wrong. Edit: I think is see a 27 but I'm not expert here.
It looks likes die pair #1 to me. I can see the die crack and I think I see the T r U s T. I cannot tell whether it is a no "D" or a weak "D". Guessing, I would say weak.
Looks like a highly worn DP4. With all the wear it's doubtful as a no D, it would have been too easy to remove the D and cover the deception.
Look at the bust. DP4 has the coat touching the rim for a good section. This one does not. DP1 has a die crack from the L just like this one has and there is nothing similar on DP4. I am pretty sure this is DP1.
Ok, many thanks for the opinions, in conclusion, it does look like '22, this time i will pass. I have the Lincoln series from 1909 to 2015, and only 2 coins are missing, the '09 SVDB and the '22 no D
Yeah, probably have reason, I'd save the money and will focus in this coin.. tomorrow i post the pics of this series.. thanks!
When I get to the point you're at with your Lincolns, I'll probably just convince myself that the 1922 plain isn't a regular issue and I should skip it so I can save money.
