I received a coin from a different Israeli seller recently and it took 3 weeks to arrive. 1 week for customs clearance and 4 or 5 days in ISC NY. Good luck!
It seems like my coin, like other coins from Israel, couldn't resist a vacation in NY.... hopefully it will move towards me soon.
Seems like most coins from there like to take a long rest. A few of mine took almost 2 weeks just in NY before moving. :/
ISC NYC has no rhyme or reason to it. The last coin of mine to go through only took 4 hours, others have taken up to 2 weeks. It's a crap shoot.
Same here. Sometimes they pass through in a day or two, other times they linger for a few weeks. I've stopped worrying about it unless it is more than two or three weeks. I still complain, but I don't really worry . I have a Roma coin stuck there right now but it will eventually start moving again.
I must admit, I seem to prefer the Italian/Western Byzantine types more than the Eastern stylistic types; the 'Western' is a blend of both but far more appealing to my eyes---although I have several Eastern Byzantine types myself... Congrats VK !!
=> it's kind of a romantic coin-tale ..... two ancient coins that bump into each other in The Big Apple and then decide to take a bit of a romantic break before having to spend the next chapter of their coin-lives stuck in your coin albums (I hope that your two coins are blowing-off some steam and having a great time putting on the Ritz in NYC!!)
My coin is on the move again and has left NY. Sorry, VK, but Elagabalus appears to have broken off the affair .
Hey TIF, by any chance has your coin arrived yet? Mine left NY a few days ago and its taking an awfully long time just to travel down the east coast...
Arrived a couple of days ago. Really happy to finally have this coin type in my collection. Just need to get the Rome follis to complement it.
i think that reverse will clean up a bit if you are so inclined 7C, nice little coin even if you don't.
Roman in style but not from the city of Rome itself. Also has spots of bronze disease that need to be dealt with as soon as possible.
