The 1 looks off , but if you're spending this kind of money I'd buy slabbed or from someone I really trusted like Harlan Berks .
I hate it when someone puts up a coin and lots of people quickly call it a fake. I don't have any specific reason for saying so but I don't think this one is legit. I'm not the kind of collector that can say it's off by .25mm or there are 7 berries instead of 8 between point X and point Y but it just looks wrong and too good.
There is a tolerance range. While it can vary from coin type to coin type you can use a general rule of thumb of 1% to get you close. That would make the range for this coin from 26.6904 to 27.2296.
I don't see anything that really jumps out at me that says the coin is a fake. But then I would never buy a raw example of one unless I really knew the seller well and trusted him. There's just too many fakes out there, and some of them quite good.
They were very strict on the tolerance of silver and gold coins. The 1% tolerance given by Doug is too great, at least for new coins. This coin was spec at 26.96 and the tolerance was only .09 grams or .33%. Maximum weight when new would be 27.05 grams
