1987P Quarter, Error or Damage?

    I think this is just a cause of wear, and also, they didn't have very good dies back then, so I would say a combination of the two. So I say post mint, but could be wrong. And Dagger, I think cuds only happen on the rims, but not sure. Could be wrong. But all this is my opinion.

    Probably a die chip, but the coin's poor condition prevents a definiitive diagnosis.

    Looks like that to me if it's anything. The closeup could be sharper, too.
