Post made in the advertising sections cannot be bumped. It's not physically possible.

To find out merely scroll to the top of the page, place your cursor over your user name in the blue bar, and then click on Account Upgrades.

No, there is not. You can list 1 item or a 100 in a single post. The number of posts you can make is regulated, but not the number of items withing those posts.

Once a week is optimal. What I would really like is if there was a real time tracking of auctions about to end. That way your single post doesn't get bumped to 2nd page and forgotten.

If your adding new items I don't see why if your allowed a daily listing would be an issue. I browse the for sale section and have both bought and sold a few times. The only thing that irks me about that section is when people put their Ebay listings in the for sale area when there is a special separate section for those listings.

I'm a small fish in this pond but I do check out the for sale listings almost everyday. As long as its new material cycling through I'm good with unlimited postings.

My concern is daily posts bumping everything else down so quickly. A bit of a pet peeve is the generic "I want to buy gold and silver" posted all over the place.

Most of us do, but these tend to be trolls looking to get things at well below market value to flip. There's a place for this - it's call Craig's List.

I would not be opposed to 3-5 times a week. 7 days a week seems excessive, but one per business day sounds like a good way to get some more action for both you the seller, and us the potential buyers. I've always thought that CoinTalks BST was the weak link on the forum.

Perhaps. But then providing a place to buy, sell, and trade is not the purpose of the forum either. It's not even a minor purpose. Providing that place for members is merely intended to be a convenience for you guys, nothing more.

This is all the more reason why the B/S/T should not be mixed with the "Recent Topics".

The software does have limitations Chris. In other words, we don't get to pick and choose what it does and does not do in some cases.

I know, Doug, but I'll keep mentioning things whenever an appropriate subject arises. We never know when Peter might decide to upgrade again.
