Tonight's eBay "extreme rarity" -- 1877 "5/7" Indian cent!

    Can't get much rarer than "0 known examples", I guess.

    RARE 1877 VG+ 5 OVER 7 INDIAN HEAD CENT

    You know things are tough at the Mint when they have to repunch dies from the future. Fortunately, they did an extremely thorough job, so good that nobody except the seller can see any trace of the original 7.

    I guess back in the day, not only did they have to walk uphill both ways to school barefoot (or whatever the saying is), but they also had to use time travel to make dies to coin money. :smuggrin:
