I'm now the proud (?) owner of 29 Anthony dollars

My son and I have been getting coin rolls from the bank for months trying to fill his coin folders, so they all know us now. Today we went and the teller said she had $30 she'd been saving for me. I'd been hoping for something like this to happen and I said I was interested. I didn't know if it would be Ike's or presidential or what. It turned out to be 29 Susan B. Anthony dollars and one presidential. My son wanted them all so I took them. Not sure what I'll do with them but there's seven different dates and mintmark combinations.

Exactly. 2 is random, 3 an accumulation. 4 is a new collection.

 

I've never been an error collector so I wouldn't know what to look for. I did notice a mintmark that looks weird though.

Fill the holes and spend the rest. Just don’t take them back to the bank where you bought them.

 

I don't think my son would be on board though. He was pretty excited about getting them.

 

You'll have to get a new safe in no time.

 

Now that you've made a connection with a teller, take her some treats and a list of items she can look out for. Always nice to have an "inside" person.
